'Fashion' is one of the most awaited movies of the year, and the controversial movie which threatens to expose the dark side of the fashion world has been finally cleared by the Censors, but with an 'A' certificate. The censors found the love making scene shots on Priyanka and her boyfriend to be quite bold; they also stated that Kangana’s intimate scenes were quite vulgar as well. The Censor also had issues with scenes in which Priyanka and Kangana are shown taking 'Marijuana', and snorting and injecting 'drugs'.The Censor board felt that such scenes could leave a bad impact on the audience especially the ones under the age of 18 so, although the board has decided to clear the movie, it has tagged 'Fashion' with an 'A' certificate. Madhur, who was hoping the censor would be flexible enough to tag Fashion with 'U' certificate instead which would have helped pull crowd from all age groups, has no choice now but to accept the censors decision.
On a positive note, the censor’s decision could very well act as a silver lining as the ‘A’ tag might help pull hoards of 18+ audiences to checkout some ‘skin show’ by Priyanka and of course the Kangana ‘Kandy’ in ‘Fashion’.
